Ernest Napper and wife Ellen nee Wright lived here in the 1920’s, followed by Eli (their son) and Christine Napper, c1800

Corner House c 1950
A Mrs Lampert sold sweets and cigarettes from Corner House until she left the village. A shop then opened on the other side of the lane.

Robert Snr, Mary, Adelaide and Robert Jun at Lockyer’s Farm
Robert died in 1927 and Amos Henry Leonard Douch ran the farm until 1930 when he retired due to ill health.
In 1950 T G Cross was the farmer
