We are grateful to the Chalke Valley History Trust for a grant towards this project. They run the Chalke History Festival every year and in 2025 the festival is 23rd to 29th of June.
Using our Heritage Trail Site boards and website
The Compton Dundon Heritage trail is comprised of X numbered information boards located throughout the village. Each board gives a brief history of the building that you can see in front of you. If you have a Smartphone you can use the QR code to visit our website where you can see further information about the site.
The website also gives lots of information, together with a gallery of photos, about the village, its people, and life through the years.
